This Privacy Policy describes how ET Group ("ET Group", "we", "our", "us") and Kyson Info Solutions Private Limited ("Kyson"), a member of ET Group, collect and use personal data through the website located at en.lara.etadvisory.com (the "Site"). This policy covers only the marketing Site. Data submitted through the Lara product itself is governed by a separate product-specific privacy notice and the applicable customer agreement.
1. What we collect
Through the Site, we collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact form submissions: name, email, company/organisation, role, and message.
- Guidebook download submissions: name, email, role, and marketing-consent status.
- Access logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer, and timestamps — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and performance monitoring.
- Cookies: The Site sets only functional cookies required for basic operation. No third-party advertising or analytics trackers are set without your consent.
2. How we use it
We use the data collected above to:
- Reply to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
- Send you the guidebook and, if you consented, occasional follow-up emails about our product and practice.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Legal basis
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: consent (for marketing communications and the guidebook), legitimate interest (for security and site operation), and contractual necessity (for responding to inquiries that lead to a business relationship). Under DPDP (India), we rely on the consent framework for personal data of Indian data principals. Under APPI (Japan), we handle personal information consistent with the notified purpose of use.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers who host the Site, deliver emails, or process form submissions — under written data-processing terms.
- Group entities (ET Group in Japan, Kyson in India) as required to respond to your inquiry.
- Regulators or authorities where legally required.
5. Retention
We retain contact-form and guidebook submissions for as long as the relationship (or the guidebook newsletter opt-in) is active, and for a limited period thereafter to defend against legal claims. Access logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
6. International transfers
The Site is operated jointly out of Japan and India. Personal data may be transferred between these countries and to service providers in other jurisdictions. Where GDPR applies, such transfers are made under standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.
7. Your rights
