01 Get Ready

Configuration & onboarding

Before Lara analyzes a single contract, we onboard you with — your company profile, your risk profile, and your workflow.

Company & user setup. We add your organisation and licenses, invite contract reviewers, and set role-based permissions. Requesters, and reviewers each get their own access model. Checklists let you focus your analysis.
Risk profile calibration. Configure which risk axes matter to your business. Jurisdiction is detected from the contracting parties — DPDP for Indian entities, APPI for Japanese, GDPR where EU data subjects are involved. Lara flags mismatches automatically. No configuration required.
Workflow & security. Configure approval chains — who requests contract reviews and who does the reviews. Lara allows only pre-approved users to access contracts, but allows any approved user, whether internal or external. This allows for flexibility and reduced license costs.

02 Analyze Risks

The core of the product. Upload a contract, or select one from your repository. Lara returns a structured risk report. Iterate live.

Upload or select. Upload a PDF contract or Word (in Beta now). Or pick from a template, prior version, or a contract already in your repository.
Automated multi-dimensional analysis. Lara returns risk categorization, severity ranking, and Review Notes for every flagged clause.
Edit and re-analyze. Change a clause. Re-run analysis. Watch the risk score respond. Iterate as many times as the negotiation requires.
Structured PDCA loop. Retain original version and latest version. Iterate until finalized, and adjust status of contract to reflect life cycle journey from Uploaded to Signed.
Risk report export. Download a formatted risk analysis report for internal review, client sharing, or auditor documentation.

Template/draft and final versions stored side-by-side. Compare across versions.
Reviewer request portal. Business teams submit contracts for review through a structured intake, not scattered emails.
Contract repository management. Contract attribute search, tag management, contract status management.
Roadmap: Integration with Word and additional contract types. An optional utilities module is available for users on professional and enterprise tiers.
